Must have obtained a PhD degree. Experience in Lifecycle Impact Assessment (LCA) research. Proficient in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB for building machine learning models. Preference given to those with experience in any of the following tools: BIM, EnergyPlus, ArcGIS, CFD. Ability to conduct independent research, possess a sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, strong scientific writing skills, and have published at least two SCI papers as the first author in related academic journals. Relevant majors include Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Energy Economics, Management Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Green Building, etc.
PhD degree
Dr. Dong has made significant contributions to the field of sustainability and environmental research. Under her leadership, research students have achieved remarkable success, winning prestigious awards such as the Second-class Prize in the 2022 5th National LCA Carbon Neutral Competition and the First-class Prize in the 2022 4th National WebLCA Competition. As the principal investigator, Dr. Dong spearheaded the groundbreaking research that led to the first verification of China’s “Carbon Negative Island” at Lingshan Island and the first “Carbon Negative Bay” at Yanpu Bay. These achievements garnered widespread attention, with outcomes featured in prominent publications such as Guangming Daily, Economic Daily News, and China Environment News, and were showcased at the COP27 Side Event. Dr. Dong also played a key role in drafting two standards, securing one patent, and obtaining one software copyright. Her expertise is further recognized in her roles as associate director of the China Green Building and Energy Saving (Macao) Association, individual member of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Life Cycle Initiative, conference session chair for over ten international conferences, and editorial board member of the International Journal of Sustainable Engineering. She also contributed to drafting the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment Encyclopedia, solidifying her reputation as a leader in the field of environmental science and engineering. Dr. Dong has built strong connections with both national and international universities, further demonstrated by her experiences as a visiting scholar at University College London and Western Sydney University.
