Previous work on Hybrid Systems and Machine-Learning

PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering with focus on hybrid control of dynamic systems, experience on Machine-Learning control based on Neural Networks,

Publications in top journals of the area, like: Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, etc.

Over recent years, my focus of research has been navigation, guidance, and control of air, surface and underwater robots, robust multi-model adaptive control, fault detection and isolation, gain-scheduled control, and integrated design of guidance and control systems. My current research interests encompass linear and nonlinear control and estimation theory, hybrid systems, machine learning, neural networks control, multi-agent control systems, networked control systems, and inertial navigation systems. I'm also interested in the development of Artificial Intelligence tools for mission control, particularly in the context of unmanned air, surface, and underwater vehicles.
