PhD, Professor
Professor Zhou Wan-Huan is currently the Associate Dean and Department Head of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, at the University of Macau. Prof. Zhou is the vice president of the Macau Geotechnical Engineering Association and the director of several geotechnical engineering academic associations. She served as an associate editor and member of the editorial boards of several international journals such as International Journal of Geomechanics and Canadian Geotechnical Journal. She has undertaken more than 15 scientific research grants funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Macau Science and Technology Development Fund, including Outstanding Youth Science Fund (Hong Kong and Macau) of 2020. She has published more than 100 SCI papers in the top journals in geotechnical engineering and civil engineering interdisciplinary journals.

My research interests include underground construction, tunneling, disaster prevention in geotechnical engineering.
